  20. I've given up on the idea of purchasing an Alpha system for financial
  21. reasons. So I've decided that Pentium running Windows NT is my only option.
  22. Now before I actualy go out and buy the Pentium system, I have a few
  23. questions:

  25. 1. Is it possible to network the pentium system to an amiga 3000? The main
  26. reasons for this are NTSC output (I have a toaster), and HD capacity.
  27.  
  28. 2. If this is a possibility, what do I need (hardware and software) on both
  29. sides to acomplish it?
  30.  
  31. 3. Will I be able to access a CD-ROM drive hooked to the Pentium from the
  32. Amiga?
  33.  
  34. 4. Will I be able to access a 1 Gb hard drive hooked to the Amiga from the
  35. Pentium?
  36.  
  37. 5. Are serial and paralel ports shareable?
  38.  
  39. 6. If I buy another Pentium in the near future, will I be able to add it to
  40. the network?
  41.  
  42. 7. Will I have to buy one copy of LightWave for each machine or is there a
  43. network option? What if the network is multi-platform?
  44.  
  45. 8. Will render distribution software like Plantation be able to work on a
  46. multi-platform environment?
  47.  
  48. 9. Do I have to dedicate one computer as a network server?
  49.
